This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Aniidex: Companion for Aniimo ("Aniidex," "the app," "we," "us"), an independent, fan-made reference app. It covers the app itself — the mobile client you install from the App Store or Google Play — and nothing else.
Aniidex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Aniimo's developers or publisher. This policy has no bearing on the Aniimo game or its publisher's own data practices — for those, refer to the official Aniimo app's privacy policy.
We do not collect any personal data. Aniidex has no account system, no sign-up flow, and no login — there is nothing to register, and nothing that identifies you is ever requested.
The app does not use analytics, does not include crash-reporting tools, and makes no network requests to us or to any server we operate. Every creature, stat, evolution tree, and image the app shows is bundled inside the install — nothing is fetched over the internet while you use it.
Aniidex saves a small amount of data using your device's standard
local-storage mechanism (shared_preferences on Android
and its iOS equivalent). This is functionally identical to a browser
remembering a form field — it never leaves your device, is never
transmitted to us, and isn't linked to any identity.

None of this is readable by us, by Aniimo's publisher, or by any other app. Uninstalling Aniidex deletes it permanently.
The in-app creature-habitat map is a static, hand-drawn map of in-game areas. It does not use — and the app never requests — your device's real-world GPS or location data. Aniidex requests no camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions of any kind.
A future version of Aniidex may use Google AdMob to show a small banner ad on static browsing screens (never on the interactive map or team planner) and optional rewarded-video ads that unlock extra convenience features — never anything that's free today. Watching a rewarded ad is always optional and always shown after you're told what it unlocks.
When enabled, AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers (such as your device's advertising ID) to deliver and measure ads, and, unless you've limited ad tracking at the OS level, to personalize them. This processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy, linked in Section 6. We will update the "Contains Ads" and Data Safety disclosures on both app stores at the same time this feature ships.
Aniidex does not currently integrate any third-party SDK. If advertising is enabled as described in Section 5, the only third-party service involved will be:
We do not sell data to anyone, because we don't collect any to sell.
Aniidex is rated for a general audience (Everyone / 4+) and is safe for children to use as-is: it collects no personal data from any user, regardless of age, so it complies with COPPA and similar children's-privacy laws by design. If advertising is added per Section 5, any ad units shown to users identified as children will be configured as non-personalized in line with Google's family-policy requirements.
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to secure on a server or retain over time. The only data that exists — your local preferences described in Section 3 — is protected by your device's own operating-system security (screen lock, disk encryption, sandboxing) the same way any other app's local data is.
We'll update this page if what the app collects or does ever changes — most notably when the advertising feature described in Section 5 moves from planned to live. The "Effective" date at the top always reflects the latest revision. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing update notes.
Aniidex is an independent fan project. Aniimo, its characters, names, and artwork are the property of their respective rights holders and are referenced here solely for identification purposes. This policy governs the Aniidex app only.
